Sierra Leoneans in Kenema, South-East of Sierra Leone have staged a peaceful protest against one of the leading mobile companies in the country, Africell over alleged stolen data.
The protest was held in front of Africell’s office in Kenema, with hundreds of citizens wearing white t-shirts singing and dancing, and calling Africell thieves.
One of the blog pages that reported the protest, PRO I.B Blog stated that 99% of citizens comments both on their page and another page, BORN 2 BLOG support the protest in KENEMA.
“We call on the government (NATCOM ) to be precise to urgently look into the alleged matter against Africell Sierra Leone before it turns into national protest,” the blog stated.
