The U.S. Embassy Freetown has announced that it will conduct a sealed-bid public auction on Wednesday, 4 June 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Freetown Aqua Club in Murray Town, Freetown.
According to the Embassy, the auction features a fiberglass power boat and trailer as the sole item available for bidding.
The vessel is described as a 21-foot Boston Whaler equipped with twin Suzuki engines, each rated at 250 horsepower. The boat also comes fitted with an onboard VHF radio communication system.
The Embassy indicated that the sale will be conducted through a sealed-bid process, allowing interested participants to submit their bids during the designated time window on the day of the auction.
