A Sierra Leonean Woman has given birth to her baby at the back of a taxi which was stuck in heavy traffic at Ferry Junction, the eastern part of the country’s capital.

A passenger in another vehicle opposite the taxi, filmed the incident and posted it on Social Media.

The video showed a long vehicular queue stuck at the ferry junction and the passengers voice heard from the background as he explained the incident while the taxi was making a turn.

The said Taxi had a woman’s wrapper  covered to the window of the back seat as if to shield the people in, from the preying eyes on the street.

“My people see ohh, this ferry junction traffic has made a woman give birth in the taxi, they could not rushed her to the hospital because of this traffic” the passenger explained.

According to him, the heavy traffic was as a result of the road been dug by some people who claimed to make it.

“they just dig the street and left the people in trouble, I swear to God there was nothing wrong with this road, they just came and dug the road and said they are making it.” Said the passenger.
