Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr Drags ‘Arata’ to Court
Mohamed Foday Conteh Freetown’s re-elected Mayor, Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr has dragged Alouysh Deen Tarawally popularly known as Arata to court for damaging her vehicle.
Deen Tarawally is in police custody after the allegations were mounted against him.
According to the police, the young man was said to have damaged the bumper, side glass and brake light of a Toyota Prado of the Mayor on the 29th May 2023.
Deen Tarawally said he is innocent of the allegations.
The accused made his appearance in court on Tuesday but the Prosecution did not lead any witness.
Deen Tarawally was remanded at the Male Correctional Centre on Pademba Road awaiting another appearance on 18 July this year.

Why Yvonne Aki Sawyerr has to take her matter to the SL court? Because they don’t believe in the credibility of the judiciary. If I know that institution is not credible, no matter what happens to me, I will not have business with that institution.
Anyway, I pray for justice. Let Justice prevail.
