BREAKING: Government of Sierra Leone Announces New Transportation Fares

The Government of Sierra Leone through the Ministry of Transport and Aviation, has today the 20th October, 2022 announced new prices for transportation to the various routes in the country.

This announcement was made in a press release, following the public pronouncement of the increase in pump price of fuel from Le 18 to Le 20 yesternight.

According to the release, the Ministry of Transport and Aviation together with the Driver’s Union and other key stakeholders in the transport sector have agreed to increase fares at 11.11%.
