The Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone (ECSL) has revealed that 1,345,176 eligible voters registered from 80% of centers during the first phase of the voter registration process.

ECSL made this revelation in a press conference organised today, 19 September 2022 at their Headquarters in Freetown, to update the press on field data captured at the end of the first phase of the voter registration exercise on Saturday 17 September 2022.

ECSL’s Provisional first phase registration data based on report from 80% of centers states that: Eastern Region – 269,110; Northern Region – 241,827; North West Region – 188,048; Southern Region – 295,959; Western Area – 350,432; National Total – 1,345,176.
