The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has issued a notice on Wednesday, May 24, announcing that the official opening of its Headquarters Building, named Integrity House, located in Tower Hill, Freetown, has been temporarily postponed.
The event, which was scheduled for Thursday, May 25, 2023, will be rescheduled, and a new date will be communicated to all concerned parties in due course.
Earlier this month, the ACC had previously disclosed its plans to relocate from its current office at No. 3 Gloucester Street to the newly constructed Office Building at Tower Hill.
Commissioner Francis Ben Kaifala stated that the modern office facility comprises four floors, featuring over 50 spacious office spaces and various amenities.
“It has been designed with accessibility in mind, accommodating individuals of all ages and disabilities, and includes a lift system, integrated ventilation systems, aesthetically pleasing ramps, and high-quality finishing.”, He added.
The new ACC Headquarters is situated adjacent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, directly facing the House of Parliament.
