The Asset Management Department of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has engaged staff of the Sierra Leone Water Company (SALWACO) on the online asset declaration process, stressing the importance of compliance with national regulations.

Welcoming the ACC team, SALWACO’s Director of Human Resources, Mr. Joe Ansu Foray Esq., emphasized that the online asset declaration system provides staff with a convenient way to declare their assets in accordance with ACC requirements.

“Compliance is critical,” Mr. Foray noted, adding that failure to complete the declaration process previously resulted in salary interruptions for some staff members two years ago.

During the engagement, the Head of Asset Management at the ACC, Mr. Brima Kargbo, called on the Director of Human Resources and SALWACO management to ensure that all staff complete their asset declarations online within the stipulated timeframe.

Mr. Kargbo disclosed that SALWACO achieved a commendable 95 percent compliance rate during the previous declaration exercise two years ago.

He further explained that this year’s online platform has been enhanced through collaboration with the Ministry of Communication, Technology and Innovation and the Directorate of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI) to make the process more user-friendly.

He informed staff that asset declarations can be completed online via [http://assets.anticorruption.gov.sl](http://assets.anticorruption.gov.sl), with the deadline for submissions set for 29th July 2026.

The ACC continues to urge all public and corporate staff to submit timely and accurate asset declarations as part of efforts to promote transparency and accountability.
