ACP Brima Kamara, Esq., former Head of Media (Media One) of the Sierra Leone Police, has informed the public of his recent redeployment within the force.
In a statement issued after a period of absence from social media, ACP Kamara apologised for the delayed update, noting that “it has been a while” since his last public communication.
He disclosed that the Management of the Sierra Leone Police has reassigned him to the Sierra Leone Peacekeeping and Law Enforcement Academy (SILEA) in Hastings, where he now serves as Commandant.
Following his redeployment, his immediate past deputy, ASP Mohamed Bobson Senu, has been appointed Acting Head of Media (Media One), with effect from 6th June 2026.
ACP Kamara urged members of the public and the media to direct all enquiries and requests relating to police communications to ASP Senu, who will now serve as the official point of contact on behalf of the Sierra Leone Police.
He concluded by expressing appreciation for the continued support and cooperation of the public.
