In a significant move towards fostering collaboration and mutual cooperation, the leadership of the Association of Deprived Single Parents Living with Children with Disabilities (ADSP) inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Stop It SL on Monday, January 21st 2024.

The purpose of the MoU is to solidify the relationship between ADSP and Stop It SL, particularly as both organizations are integral members of the Coalition of Rights Groups on Gender, Youth, Education, Environment, and Disability (GYEED Coalition), led by Stop It SL.

Representing ADSP during the signing ceremony were Madam Susan Oya Bangura and Mr. Nelson Kabbah Bangura. Mr. John Koroma, the CEO of Stop It SL and Chairman of the GYEED Coalition, facilitated the process, emphasizing the shared values and objectives that bind the two organizations.

The ceremony, held at Stop It SL offices located at 17 off King Harman Road, garnered the presence of witnesses, including Ibrahim Thullah, the District Coordinator of Stop It Rural District. The collaborative spirit exhibited during the event underscored the commitment of both parties to working together as partners in advancing the goals of the GYEED Coalition.

The signed MoU not only establishes a formal framework for cooperation but also reinforces the commitment of ADSP and Stop It SL to collectively address issues related to gender, youth, education, environment, and disability. This strategic alliance is poised to enhance the effectiveness of both organizations in advocating for the rights and well-being of vulnerable groups within the Sierra Leonean community.
