Sierra Leone-born artificial intelligence expert Albert Patrick Sankoh has been recognised as a “Trendsetter to Watch” at the Tech 2.0 Conference 2026, held on April 8 at the Bellagio Hotel.
The recognition forms part of the conference’s global awards programme, which highlights innovators whose work is shaping the future of technology.
The event, themed “Innovation in Overdrive: The Artificial Intelligence Race,” brought together technology leaders, engineers, and entrepreneurs from around the world to discuss emerging developments in artificial intelligence and related fields.
Sankoh, a full-stack developer and Chief Executive Officer of Yestech Solutions, is also co-founder of EZ-Tech LLC. He has contributed to the development of digital solutions across finance, healthcare, and enterprise systems.
These include digital payment platforms and AI-powered applications designed to improve efficiency and accessibility across multiple sectors.
Speaking after the award presentation, Sankoh described the recognition as a sign of the growing role of African innovators in the global technology ecosystem.
He said the achievement demonstrates the potential for Sierra Leonean and African talent to contribute meaningfully to international technological advancement.
The honour highlights Sankoh’s work in the global tech space at a time when artificial intelligence continues to drive rapid innovation across industries.
