Air Sierra Leone has adjusted its planned operations for its new Freetown-London Gatwick route, now set to begin on June 16, 2025.

Initially, the airline will operate one-time flights on June 16 (from London) and June 17 (from Freetown), with regular service scaling up in the following weeks.

According to the airline’s updated schedule, flights will increase to two weekly from June 30, before expanding to three weekly from July 30. The flight schedule is as follows:

  • 6L200 London Gatwick (LGW) 23:00 – Freetown (FNA) 05:00+1 (Mon, Thu)
  • 6L201 Freetown (FNA) 09:00 – London Gatwick (LGW) 17:00 (Tue, Fri)

The flights will be operated using a Boeing 787-8 Max aircraft under the airline code 6L, instead of the previously listed YD.

To mark the launch and celebrate Eid, Air Sierra Leone is offering a limited-time promotional fare of $500 for round-trip tickets between London Gatwick and Freetown. Travelers are encouraged to book soon to secure the discounted rate.
