Alleged Murder File Missing in High Court
Morlai Ibrahim Kamara The Executive Director, Patriotic Advocacy Network has written to the Master and Registrar of Sierra Leone Law Court Building on the status of the alleged Murder of Mamadu Juma Bah which took place on the 17th November, 2020. He stated in the letter that the matter was reported at the Barracks Police Station in Freetown on the same day.
He stated in the letter that preliminary investigations of the said matter were done at the Magistrate Court N0.3 at the Ross Road in December of 2020,, and the matter was committed to the high court for trial. Ever since , we have learnt that the matter has not being assigned for hearing, or given the required attention that it deserves.
He further stated that in light of the above, PAN as an institution inquired with the Authorities at the Ross Road police Station and the High court; but to their greatest dismay, they were informed that the alleged murder file of Mamadu Juma Bah (C/S number 207/20) is missing.
