A report has disclosed that one of the former All People’s Congress (APC) members of Parliament, Emmanuel Saidu Conteh has sustained severe injuries by two unidentified persons.

It pointed out that Conteh was attacked while performing his party duties at the APC headquarters, Brookfields in Freetown.

In a video clip shared on social media, the former APC Parliamentarian is seen sustaining injuries to his head, upper eye, and arm.

It was reported that the attackers used knife and broken bottle to execute their action.

Some members of the public have called the Police to act promptly on the unfortunate incident as they consider it to be a breach of the victim’s fundamental rights.
