The Parliamentary Leadership of the main opposition All Peoples Congress (APC) party has paid a courtesy call on the party’s Secretary General, Lansana Dumbuya in Freetown.

The meeting was geared towards discussing several proposals that will enhance a total coordination between the parliament and the party.

This follows the recent development in the party as the Secretary General Lansana Dumbuya and the party Chairman tried to call on the general membership of their party to have plans and a call for union and reunion to promote the dictates of their party.

The parliamentary leadership of the APC has recently been engaged in productive engagements with different individuals and sectors to enhance peace and national cohesion in the country.

One of the past engagements included meeting with the European Union in Sierra Leone on issues related to the role of the opposition in governance, peace and national cohesion. They have also engaged President Bio on peace and national cohesion as well as the implementation of the agreement of national unity.
