The All People’s Congress (APC) has announced plans to outline its next course of action following what it described as a significant phase of political engagement on national issues.

In a statement signed by its National Secretary General, Lansana Dumbuya, the party said recent developments have shaped both national and international attention, positioning its concerns at the center of ongoing discussions about governance and democratic processes.

The APC noted that it has carefully assessed public sentiment across the country and in the diaspora, particularly regarding recent political developments, including the appointment of Edmond Sylvester Alpha and comments attributed to the leadership of the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP).

According to the statement, the party is consolidating its position within the framework of the law and will soon communicate its next steps. It emphasized that any actions taken would be guided by strategy, national responsibility, and adherence to democratic principles.

The APC reaffirmed its commitment to justice, democracy, and the rule of law, stating that it remains prepared to take lawful measures, including mobilization, if necessary, to defend what it described as the will of the people.

While urging supporters to remain calm, disciplined, and united, the party stressed the importance of patience and strategic action rather than impulsive responses during what it called a critical moment.

The statement concluded with a call for vigilance among party members and supporters, as the APC prepares for what it described as the next phase of its political engagement.
