Prominent Sierra Leonean artist, Artical Foyoh has on his Facebook handle endorsed Mohamed Gento Kamara as the next Mayor of the Municipality of Freetown.

Mohamed Gento Kamara who is known by many as a businessman and CEO of Gento group. Gento Group is a leading construction company is Sierra Leone with services ranging from Building and Construction, Estates to Granite and Haulage services.

The businessman has been behind the scene in the contractions of road networks in Sierra Leone. Before his mayoral intention was publicly announced and endorsed weeks ago, Mohamed Gento Kamara popularly known as Gento have donated sums of money supporting sporting activities in Sierra Leone.

The Mayoral position of Sierra Leone has been tagged with Creoles as one Political Science Lecturer at Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone said, “good leadership is not determined by the ethnic grouping one belongs to or as a result of certain historical antecedents, like what makes the creoles think they should have the God given right to head the FCC.” For this reason Mohamed Gento Kamara has decided to join the race of Mayorship in Freetown.

A week ago before his heroic welcome, the First Lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Her Excellency, Madam Fatima Jabbie Bio endorsed Gento as Mayor of Freetown.

As elections are just around the corner, social media influencers and politicians are set with their endorsements of different personalities. As the First Lady had started it already, Artical Foyoh has toed the line of endorsing Mohamed Gento Kamara as the next Mayor of Freetown.

According to Artical Foyoh Gento has his full support henceforth in his fight as the next Mayor of Freetown. He continued that, after he has read between the lines and think critically in line with his past projects and present, he has come into conclusion that Gento is the right man in the right position as the next Mayor if the Municipality of Freetown. And added that if we could trust to leave Freetown in the hands of anybody is Gento.
