The Ibn Alie Network has officially commenced auditions for the 2026 National Female Qur’anic Competition (6th Session), an initiative aimed at promoting Qur’anic excellence and empowering women and girls through education, moral development, and Islamic values across Sierra Leone.

The competition is designed as a national platform to encourage young Muslim women to strengthen their connection with the Holy Qur’an while fostering discipline, knowledge, and spiritual growth.

Organisers say the initiative continues to play an important role in promoting religious education and uplifting female participation in Qur’anic learning nationwide.

The auditions mark the beginning of this year’s edition, with expectations that the programme will inspire a new generation of participants committed to Islamic scholarship and personal development.

The Ibn Alie Network expressed prayers for success, knowledge, and sincerity for all participants, noting hopes that the competition will continue to serve as a source of inspiration and empowerment for young Muslim women across Sierra Leone.
