Bhantal FC Secures Second Place in 2023/2024 Leone Rock Premier League
Morlai Ibrahim Kamara Newly promoted side Bhantal Football Club has Finished 2nd position in the 2023/2024 Leone Rock Premier League after their 2-1 win against Mighty Blackpool FC.
Bhantal FC finishes the season with 61 Points leaving FC Kallon and Others Trailing Behind.
The team Won 2 out of their last three matches against Bo Rangers, FC Kallon and Mighty Blackpool to climax the league.
Though, they suffered 1-0 home defeat to Bo Rangers, they cemented their Second Position after Triumph Over FC Kallon with a Stunning Comeback at the newly inaugurated Approved School Field .
Despite FC Kallon opening the scoring in the 46th minute, Bhantal FC staged an impressive comeback. Mohamed Bangura equalized with a penalty in the 78th minute and secured the win with a brace in the 93rd minute, ending the match 2-1. Bangura’s performance, marking his 12th goal of the season, earned him the Man of the Match award.
