Regarding the contract signing of Community Health Workers (CHWs) on 14/12/2022.
Dedicated health workers within the Freetown communities are over-stressful with the way and how the ministry of Health and sanitation has maltreated them in respect of them bridging the gap in the health sector and saving lives everyday in our communities

CHWs were forced to sign a contractual agreement without indicating any amount of money they would be paying them, after they have signed, the amount of the monthly stipends for a period of 5 years was pronounced to them orally.

let me surprise you NLE 150 per month as compared to the effective January 2023 labour cost per Month which is from NLE 600 to NLE 1000 even as compared to their daily engagements.

Thousands of CHWs are registered voters across the country, so it is high time for President Bio to be aware of this for prompt actions before it gets late or worse.

CHWs are not happy at the ministry of health and sanitation.

Share until it reaches the highest authorities.
Global funds are paying $50 per person for a month.
