President Bio Appoints William Fayia Sellu as New Inspector General of Police

Sierra Leone’s President, Julius Maada Bio has today, Wednesday 27 July 2022 appointed William Fayia Sellu as the new Inspector General of Police.

Sellu who was the Director of Crimes and the CID has replaced Ambrose Sovula as the newly appointed Inspector General of Sierra Leone Police.

He was also police chief in the Southern region SierraLeone, and served for 11 years as Chief Security Officer to Ex-President Tejan Kabba.
