A statement shared on his official Facebook page, President Bio said the meeting focused on the strong partnership between Sierra Leone and The Gambia. He noted that both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation within the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and supporting efforts to foster unity and stability in the subregion.
The visit forms part of President Bio’s wider diplomatic engagements aimed at consolidating ties with neighboring countries and addressing shared regional challenges.
