To support women on this International Women’s Day, Sierra Leone’s President, Dr Julius Maada Bio, has called on all members of Parliament to commit to fully supporting the Gender Bill.
The President also announced that his government has launched the National Women’s Entrepreneurship Fund today the 8th March, 2022, which is geared at supporting the women of Sierra Leone in entrepreneurship.
On this International Women’s Day, I call on Members of Parliament to fully commit to supporting the Gender Bill. Today, my Government also launches the National Women’s Entrepreneurship Fund as promised in the Medium Term National Development Plan.
