Kanja Sesay President Julius Maada Bio has arrived in New York ahead of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, saying he looks forward to a productive High-Level Week focused on key global engagements and advancing Sierra Leone’s national interests.
President Bio confirmed his arrival in a statement, noting that this year’s General Assembly is being convened under the theme, “Restoring trust, managing transformation: A United Nations that delivers for all.”
“I look forward to a productive High-Level Week, marked by meaningful participation in key events and bilateral meetings aimed at advancing our national interests,” President Bio said.
