I can respect any person who can put their ego aside and say, “I made a mistake. I apologize and I’m correcting the behavior”, Sylvester McNutt 111.

This is where most people had enough respect for former President Ernest Koroma. On his own volition, it is confirmed that he personally flew out to Ghana and met with Chief Sam Sumana and the rest is all history.

Sources very familiar with the former Vice President say, that at no point in time had the former Vice President Chief Alhaji Sam Sumana stated either in private or public that he intends to run for the APC party flag bearer. In fact, many others have been persistently running despite their woeful performances at the polls.

Meanwhile, there seems to be grand misinformation, misunderstanding, miscommunication, and a calculated ploy that has been craftily orchestrated by some comrades who are glittery that in the event the former Vice President returns to the party that’s the end of their political careers.

Unfortunately for them, the former Vice President has been officially reinstated through an official letter dated, September 10, 2022, written by the former APC party Secretary General, Ambassador Osman Foday Yansaneh. The letter of reinforcement reads that Chief Sam Sumana has been unanimously reinstated by NAC.

As mentioned earlier, the Chief’s return to the party is not only to become its flag bearer but to make his own minimal contributions towards the success of his party.

However, the unfair removal of the former Vice President from office by former President Ernest Koroma is a blatant violation of his political and human rights as clearly stated by the ECOWAS Court in Abuja, Nigeria, and President Julius Maada Bio himself.

The reinstatement issue of former Vice President Chief Alhaji Sam Sumana is like flogging a dead horse. It’s a done deal!
