The Minister of Lands, Housing and Country Planning, Dr. Turad Senesie was accompanied today by the Director of Operations, Mr. Foday Manso Koroma to the Queen Elizabeth II Quay on a special mission to ascertain the status and speed up the discharge of equipment and other road construction tools meant for the construction of the Bo-Mattru Jong Highway.

This mission was the result of a special directive from H.E. the President and the Chief Minister to the Minister.

It could be recalled that just when the equipments are being discharged, the Bumpeh Bridge collapsed, thus causing some inconveniences for motorists and the people of Bonthe and Bo Districts.

The arrival of these equipments however demonstrates the readiness of the government to construct a sustainable road linking the two districts.
