BREAKING: President Bio Suspends Auditor General

President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, His Excellency Julius Maada Bio has suspended the Auditor General, Lara Taylor-Pearce indefinitely.

However, the President has instructed the Attorney General to set up a tribunal to investigate her and her agency. On the other hand, Lara Taylor-Pearce has denied any wrongdoing.

The suspension of the country’s highly respected Auditor General by President Bio has been described as an unprecedent move.
