President Julius Maada Bio has left Sierra Leone for the United Kingdom to speak at the Oxford Africa Conference 2025.
The event will be held at the Blavatnik School of Government on May 24th and 25th.
The President is expected to deliver the keynote address under the theme, “Changing Narratives: Vision, Action, and Transformation of Africa.” His participation follows an official invitation from the organisers of the conference.
The Oxford Africa Conference is hosted by the Oxford University Africa Society (AfriSoc). It brings together students, academics, professionals, and leaders to discuss Africa’s development and share ideas from across the continent.
First Lady Fatima Maada Bio shared news of the trip on social media, saying she accompanied her husband as he departed for the UK. She noted that the conference provides a chance to share Sierra Leone’s journey and connect with others who care about Africa’s future.
The problem with Sierra Loaded, the comments of the participants or viewers only stops here.
