US Ambassador, Bryan Hunt Visits AYV Media Empire

The African Young Voices (AYV) Media Empire hosted the New United States Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Bryan David Hunt on Wednesday, November 8th, 2023, in what proved to be an exciting and insightful visit.

Ambassador Hunt’s arrival at the media company created a buzz of enthusiasm among its staff. Mr. Messeh Leone, the Chief Operating Officer of AYV Media, and Mr. Amadu Lamrana Bah, the Director of News and Current Affairs, extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guest and proudly showcased the remarkable features of the company.

The company’s famous presenters, Phebean Swill and Marina Terry, had the Ambassador on their Wake-Up Sierra Leone program where he revealed to them that it was his first time in Sierra Leone, and showed admiration for the country and its people.

Hunt updated on the diplomatic relationship between Sierra Leone and the USA, stating that it is going on a sound footing. He assured the country of their continued support for democracy, health, and development.

What exactly do these Americans want in our country? Barge into every offices as and when they can: ministers' offices; opposition office; president's office; chief minister's; etc. I thought they are supposed to stay in their embassy. I hope they are not into something fishy, like what I heard today (hope it is not true) of what they are planning to build in our country.
