The newly selected running mate of Dr. Samura Kamara for the All People’s Congress (APC), Honourable Chernor Maju Bah has made a firm promise to the party and its supporters.
“Rest assured of my commitment to your (Samura Kamara’s) vision to build back Sierra Leone,” Bah said late on Monday evening.
He affirmed that they will face a ‘daunting’ challenge ahead and termed the Bio’s Administration as ‘a desperate failed government’ but they as a party determined to take State House in this election.
The APC Parliamentary Leader called on all former aspirants to rally behind the party as the nation edges towards the June 2023 elections.
In another news, the Mayor of Freetown, Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr has congratulated Bah and stated that the APC party will win this year’s presidential election.
Yesterday afternoon, the Party’s Presidential Candidate, Kamara announced Bah as his running mate for the second consecutive time. The pair will face the incumbent Julius Maada Bio after losing to him in the 2018 elections.
Kamara also chose former member of parliament representing Lokomasama Chiefdom as his national campaign chairman for the 24 June elections.
