Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister, David Moinina Sengeh has commended the military officers and thanked President Bio for showing his care and support to every facet of citizens in the country.

The Chief Minister formed part of the delegation that paid visit at the 34 military hospital in Freetown to check on the injured military officers following the Sunday 26th November 2023 failed coup in the nation’s capital.

He maintained that, Sierra Leoneans remain grateful to the military men and women who stood up to fight for the protection of the democracy of the nation.

Thank you, President Bio for visiting the brave wounded soldiers earlier this evening at the 34 military hospital. As a nation, we remain grateful to the military men and women who stood up, said no and fought for democracy against the attackers. We will keep praying for you” he stated.
