As Chinese Company Allegedly Refuse to Pay Over 76 Workers, Legal Aid Board Set to Intervene
Morlai Ibrahim Kamara Scores of ex- employees of Beijing Urban Construction GROUP (BUCG) has visited the Legal Aid Board For Intervention.
The workers who were contracted for the Construction of the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) officers Mess at Wilberforce in Freetown, Stormed to head quarter of Legal Aide Board (LAB) at Wilberforce Street to Lodge a complainant of Unfair treatment with the Board.
The aggrieved Former Workers, numbering about 76 alleged that the company has refused to pay them their end of Service and other benefits after completing a one -year contract with them.
The Executive Director of the Legal Aid Board, Ms Fatmata Claire Carlton- Hanciles admonished the former workers to be law-abiding as the Board will look into their matter
