Chinese Embassy to Host Farewell Reception For 2024 Scholarship Awardees
Morlai Ibrahim Kamara The Chinese Embassy in Sierra Leone will hold a farewell reception for this year’s Chinese government scholarship recipients on August 22, 2024. The event will take place at 9:30 AM in Hall 1 of the Bintumani Hotel.
All successful applicants are expected to attend the reception with their letters of acceptance.
The occasion will serve as an orientation for the students before their departure to China. The Chinese Embassy, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will provide essential information and guidance to prepare the awardees for their studies.
Awarding scholarships by the Chinese Government has been part of the long standing flourish relationship between the two countries. The scholarships tend to capacitate the human resources in Sierra Leone.
