Hundreds of citizens in Bo Southern part of Sierra Leone have seen on the street on Saturday 23rd July 2022, as they welcome the Minister of Energy, Alhaji Kanja Sesay.

Residents of the city celebrated the Minister in recognition of his efforts to provide uninterrupted electricity supply to the second city of Sierra Leone.

The residents came out in droves and lined the main streets and roads of Bo to welcome Alhaji Kanja Sesay to show appreciation to the Government of His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio for landing the TRANSCO Line in the city that now provides uninterrupted electricity supply.

Residents do appreciate the effective electricity supply in their city, saying that electricity supply is the catalyst for the growth of economic activities and businesses for any country in the world.

Similarly, in a bid to ensure that Freetown benefits from a more reliable electricity residents are also enjoying more than twenty-hour uninterrupted access to electricity from the CLSG supply grid, transformation lines have been constructed from Bunumbu to Freetown and other parts of the Northern Region.
