Court Sentence Kamarainba to 17 Years Imprisonment
Morlai Ibrahim Kamara The Sexual Model Division of the High Court in Freetown has sentenced popular politician, Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray to 17 years imprisonment.
The former Alliance Democratic Party (ADP) presidential candidate was standing trial for penetrating a 15-year-old minor about three years ago.
Justice Samuel O. Taylor sentenced Kamarainba Mansaray after being found guilty on all 8 Counts. Co-accused, Marion Arouni was also sentenced to 15 years.
Ist accused Mohamed Kamaraimba Mansaray found guilty in Counts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 8= 15 years to run concurrently. Guilty in Counts 6 and 7 = 2 years each, to run concurrently. Therefore 1st accused is sentenced to 17 years
2nd accused Marion Aruni found guilty in Counts 1 and 8, sentenced to 15 years each, to run concurrently. Therefore 2nd accused sentenced to 15 years
In recent times, Mohamed Kamaraimba Mansaray was at the Annex Unit of Connaught Hospital in Freetown, on observation by a private Urologist and Surgeon Dr. Thaimu B. Kamara popularly known as TB Kamara and other medical doctors
Mansaray had from his Prison Cell at the Pademba Road Correctional Centre been diagnosed of prostate cancer by medical expert, since early last year.
And has most times prevented him from coming to court during his trial.
