Education Ministers, David Moinina Sengeh And Dr Alpha Wurie Lead Sierra Leone Delegation at United Nations Education Summit

As Sierra Leone takes leadership at United Nations Transforming Education Summit,David Moinina Sengeh and Dr Alpha Wurie Lead Sierra Leone’s Delegation at United Nations Education Summit in New York.

The Ministries of Basic and Senior Secondary Education and Technical and Higher Education are all set to support President Bio in his capacity as Co-Chair of the High-Level Steering Committee to UNESCO and Founding World Champion for Foundational Learning during the UN Transforming Education Summit.

As part of the delegation led by Minister Wurie and Dr David Moinina Sengeh they have school students from Falaba, Kenema, Pujehun; teachers from Bo and Freetown; University student from Njala, a Deputy Director of Education from Kono; a Chief from Kono; a Youth Activist from Moyamba…

Minister Sengeh posted on his Social media handles”When our country is respected globally, FCDO/DFID, Education Above All from Qatar; UNICEF, Irish-Aid, World Bank, UNFPA, and UNAIDS all wanted to and did support our delegation.
