ECSL to Start Verification of Ad-hoc Polling Staff at District Level

The Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) together with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) are set to start verification of all ad-hoc staff starting from Monday, 21st August ending on Saturday, 26th August 2023.

“The exercise is intended to make it easier for all polling staff who worked during the 24th June 2023 polls to verify their details for the payment of their allowances,” ECSL said.

The Electoral Commission notified ad-how staff to visit ECSL District Offices for verification between 9 in the morning and 5 in the evening.

The Commission urged all ad-hoc staff to bring along their signed and stamped contract together with government issued ID cards and a valid telephone number which will be used to communicate payment notice.

The ECSL said verified ad-how stuff will receive their payment seven days after the verification process.

“Following successful verification of ad-hoc personnel and review by relevant authorities, ad-hoc staff will receive SMS on their phones containing an e-voucher code from Rokel Commercial Bank at least seven (7) days after verification is completed,” ECSL said.

Meanwhile, the verification process for Bonthe and Karene Districts will be done in eight (8) days.

They advised ad-hoc staff to take the code to any Rokel bank or their Mobile Sim Korpor cash out office or designated cash out point at ECSL training centres that will be announced.

They urged all ad-hoc staff to note that all verification will be concluded by Saturday August 26 and non shall be conducted after that.

ECSL is actually going to paid this money?because this is too shameful and disappointment to the polling staff they have did the jobs perfectly and contracts were signed with all necessary documents. But payment is still delaying why?

Now the government and the security personnel are watching and listening without saying anything to ECSL when they are fulling people about this payment since the day of election when ECSL start to verify their polling staffs update they are not yet through with they're fake verification, now if the people go out and demonstrate for their money the president will instruct the I G to send his men and kill innocent life's, we know that this government like to see blood and the killing of innocent life's in this country, Mr president tell your men the police and the military to get ready because very soon they are going to kill us again for our money since ECSL don't want to pay us we are going on rampage until we get our money, ECSL how many press release and date have you issue out about this payment of polling staffs, the first press release you said you are going to pay on the 15/07/2023, you fail and the second one is on the 30/07/2023, and the third one is on the 15/08/2023, up till now no payment they're just paying on press release, The want to stupid us, but we are going to tell them that we are not stupid, I G get ready to follow the instructions from your boss to go and kill us for our money that we suffer for, because you and your boss like to see blood and the killing of innocent life's..

We are a sovereign nation yes, but for Bio and his followers to be screaming that after outsiders questioned the election results, but the government is resorting to the same outsiders to pay election staff is both very sad and very laughable.
