The Chief Electoral Commissioner for Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone (ECSL), Mohamed K. Konneh has extended profound thanks and appreciation to all political parties for a peaceful end of the nomination processes.
The Commissioner on the final day for the Presidential and Parliamentary Candidates’ nomination thanked the Political Parties and the candidates for their proactive roles in the process which marks the peaceful end as they commission moves to other stages in making sure that, the June general election in fully controlled and rolled out in a peaceful free and fair atmosphere for all political parties and the country at large.
It is noted that, 9th May, 2023 marks the final day for the nomination process for all political parties and working with that mandate the commissioner has stated that, there will be no additional time or extension after the deadline.
