Sierra Leone’s Deputy Minister of Energy, Edmond Nonie, has officially subscribed to the oath of office.
The ceremony took place at the State House in Freetown, overseen by President Julius Maada Bio.
Nonie, who was appointed as Deputy Minister 2 in April and subsequently approved by Parliament in June, expressed his commitment to advancing the nation’s energy sector.
In his acceptance statement, he assured the people of Sierra Leone of his zeal and determination to ensure sustainable development within the sector. He pledged to align his efforts with the President’s aims and goals, focusing on making significant improvements in the energy sector.
