The Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) has announced dates for the start of the first professional training course for school leaders in the country.

They maintained that, the training is set to be launched in April 2024 which may seek to build skills and knowledge that enable school leaders to improve on their school’s outcomes, support their fellow teachers’ development, and ensure pupils are thriving to have their education well monitored.

They revealed that, the training might offer A Free study materials, coaching to support studies, skills to create a school Improvement Plan, advice and support from a community of school leaders, and a completion certificate respectively.

They added that, the programme may welcome committed school leaders: Principals, Vice Principals, Heads of Department and Senior Teachers, adding that places are limited and remains very competitive as the applications deadline is set to 13th February, 2024.
