Morlai Ibrahim Kamara Former President of Sierra Leone, Ernest Bai Koroma has extended a congratulatory independence message to Sierra Leoneans.
Koroma, who currently serves as the Chairman of the main opposition All Peoples Congress Posted on his Twitter Social media handle ”Congratulations to all Sierra Leoneans on this significant day of our 61years of independence. May this moment inspire hard work, compassion, and patriotism, as we endure the long walk to the fulfillment of our independence aspirations.
Today 27th April Sierra Leone celebrates the attainment of Freedom peace, and unity obtained 61years ago.
As the country celebrates 61 years of independence from colonial rule, the former president’s message is by way of extending best wishes to the good people of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
