Sierra Leone’s First Lady, Fatima Maada Bio, has arrived in France to participate in the 5th Edition of the International Women Leaders Forum.

In a statement, she confirmed her safe arrival at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, noting that she will be attending the high-level event organized by the Institut AFRIKA.

The Forum brings together women leaders, ministers, parliamentarians, and entrepreneurs from across the world, with a focus on advancing gender equality under the theme “Women’s Excellence in Education and Female Entrepreneurship.”

Upon arrival, the First Lady said she was warmly received by the Sierra Leonean Ambassador to France and members of his delegation.

The event is expected to provide a platform for global dialogue on women’s empowerment, education, and entrepreneurship, while strengthening international collaboration on advancing equal opportunities for women.
