Fire Destroys Five Government Buses at SLRA Parking Ground in PWD Kissy

A fire outbreak at the Sierra Leone Roads Authority (SLRA) parking ground along Blackhall Road in PWD Kissy has destroyed five government buses.

The affected vehicles, all bearing registration numbers beginning with AKU, were completely consumed by the blaze. The destroyed buses are AKU-031, AKU-016, AKU-025, AKU-014, and AKU-012.

The cause of the fire and the full extent of any additional damage are yet to be officially confirmed by authorities.

Emergency responders were deployed to the scene, but it remains unclear whether any injuries were recorded or if other property was affected.

Efforts to obtain a comment from the SLRA and fire services were unsuccessful at the time of publication.
