BREAKING: Government of Sierra Leone Announces Public Holiday

The Government of Sierra Leone has declared Monday, October 2022 as a public holiday as part of celebration of the Feast of Maulid un-Nabi that will be observed on Saturday 8th October 2022.

The Government made this announcement in a public notice issued today, Thursday 6 October 2022.

The notice reads that, “The General Public is informed that the Feast of Maulid un-Nabi will be observed on Saturday 8th October 2022.

Accordingly, Monday 10th October 2022 has been declared a Public Holiday throughout the country.”
