Government Takes Action to Resume Kabala School Bus Service
Sahid Bangura The Government, through the Koinadugu District Council, is taking steps to restore the school bus service in Kabala following a temporary disruption caused by mechanical problems.
The Council’s Deputy Chief Administrator, Osman C. Kamara, confirmed that the bus was taken to a garage after the driver reported mechanical issues, leading to the temporary suspension of the service.
Kamara said repairs and routine maintenance are nearing completion and expressed confidence that the bus will return to operation tomorrow, once the remaining work is finalized.
The disruption has raised concerns among students, parents and other residents who depend on the bus for daily transportation to and from school. Education remains a key public service in Koinadugu, with Kabala hosting several schools serving pupils in the district.
The Council said it remains committed to restoring the service promptly, while students and parents in Kabala are awaiting the expected resumption of the school bus service tomorrow.
