The identities of some of the Sierra Leone Police Officers who were killed while on duty during yesterday’s violent protest have been revealed by North East Media and some friends and family members in Freetown.

According to reports from the North East, four officers were killed in total from Kamakwie and the Regional Headquarters.

Two of whom were constables, one Sergeant and one Superintendent.

“As it stance for now, four (4) officers have been killed by unknown youths.

Sgt Desmond Hanciles was also identified by Sylvia Blyden as one of the officers killed in the protest in Freetown.
