Bank Governor, Prof. Kelfala Kallon Speaks on Exile Allegation
Morlai Ibrahim Kamara The Governor of the Bank of Sierra Leone Professor Kelfala Kallon, has reacted to a widespread social media audio alleging that he is on self-exile as a result of advising President Bio on Political Matters.
He made the said statement at the Governor’s residence at Hill Station.
He disassociated his voice from the alleged audio making the rounds on social media. He clarified that he has direct access to the President and he if he wants to advice the President, he will not do it on social media.
He affirmed that as a Governor of the Bank, he has worked so hard to keep Politics out of the Bank and the Bank out of Politics.
He further clarified the issue of being in exile as a manufactured lie and a Propaganda. He described himself as not a coward as he has manifested his bravery in his engagement with three Lions at the same time.
He advises the people behind the audio to find work to do and become productive to help the problems of the economy.
