Former President of Sierra Leone, Ernest Bai Koroma has appealed to Sierra Leoneans to register so that they can vote in next year’s Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.

The former president made this appeal in a short video shared on social media.

“I’m appealing to every Sierra Leonean; it’s your responsibility to register so you can vote. If you don’t register, you won’t vote. Only after registering would you move to the next step to exercise your right to vote,” Koroma stated.

The first phase of thevoter registration process for June 2023 election has commenced on Saturday 3 September 2022, and it will end on October 4 2022, after the second registration phase has been completed.
