The Ministry of Employment, Labour and Social Security has informed the public that a social media flyer circulating online under the title “Public Notice: Overseas Employment Opportunities in Asia,” and allegedly issued by the Ministry, is fake and unauthorised.
According to the Ministry, it has not issued, endorsed, or authorised the advertisement, nor has it mandated any individual, group, or agency to recruit citizens on its behalf through the said notice.
Members of the public are strongly advised not to engage, make payments, submit personal documents, or communicate with any contacts associated with the publication, as it may be a fraudulent scheme targeting unsuspecting citizens.
The Ministry further assured the public that all legitimate employment opportunities and official recruitment notices are communicated only through verified government channels and accredited platforms.
Citizens are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious recruitment activities to the Ministry or relevant law enforcement authorities.
