Chief Lansana, 32 Other Members of APC Joins SLPP
The Section Chief Of Gbeworbu Gao, Luawa Chiefdom in the Kailahun District, Chief Lansana Wonneh, and 32 other strong forces of the All People’s Congress (APC) in the District have declared their support for the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP).
Their decision the chief said is to re-elect President, Julius Maada Bio in the June 2023 elections.
Kailahun is one of the strongholds of the ruling SLPP party, and this recent development has served as a big blow for the main opposition APC party.
With elections few months away, the issue of politicians moving from one political party to the other has been a common phenomenon.
